The idea for Playful Suds belonged to Zabrina from the very beginning.

After watching her mom begin putting together the pieces of Glow Up Vibery and its wax melt collection, Zabrina approached her with an announcement: she wanted to start her own business.

Her mom told her to think carefully about what she wanted to create and come back when she had an idea. A couple of weeks later, Zabrina returned with two possibilities: soap or candy.

After learning that candy and soap were two very different types of businesses, she was encouraged to choose one and develop the idea further. A few days later, Zabrina came back with the idea that would become Playful Suds:

“I want to make soaps shaped like toys so kids will want to take baths and wash their hands more.”

And just like that, Playful Suds by Zabrina was born. 🫧

From the beginning, Zabrina has been involved in every stage of building her business. With guidance from her mom, she has helped choose her logo design, soap shapes, colors, scents, packaging, product ideas, and the playful personality behind the brand.

Running a business is a lot of work, especially when the owner is also seven years old and still deserves plenty of time to play, learn, and simply enjoy being a kid. That is why Zabrina is also learning an important business lesson: successful owners sometimes need to hire dependable help. Mom proudly serves as her most active employee, helping complete orders and manage the grown-up responsibilities while making sure Zabrina remains involved in the creative decisions that make Playful Suds uniquely hers.

Playful Suds is also helping Zabrina learn how to manage the money she earns. Every sale is divided into three parts:

20% goes into savings.
Her very first savings goal was purchasing a new bike!

20% goes back into the business.
This helps pay for supplies, packaging, ingredients, and new product ideas.

60% belongs to Zabrina.
She can use it for things that bring her joy and reward her for the creativity and hard work she puts into owning her business.

Through Playful Suds, Zabrina is learning that her ideas have value, hard work can bring exciting rewards, and even the biggest dreams can begin with one imaginative little idea.

Every purchase supports more than a colorful bar of soap. It helps a young entrepreneur build confidence, practice responsibility, learn financial skills, and continue creating products designed to make everyday routines a little more playful.
