🌸 Fitness Friday: Preparing for Week One — We’re Building a Starting Line



March 2 is almost here.


And before we begin the first official week of the Glow Up Vibery Fitness Plan, I want to gently reset expectations.


Week One is not about progress.

Week One is about consistency.


Not improvement.

Not transformation.

Not proving anything.


Just showing up.





🌿 What We’re Actually Doing in Week One



This first week is about gathering information — without judgment.


I’ll be doing every low-impact exercise right alongside you. And while we move, we’re not asking:


“Did I improve?”


We’re asking:


“Where am I starting?”


That’s it.





✨ Movement: Logging Your Honest Starting Point



If wall push-ups are on the plan and:


  • You comfortably do 12? Log 12.

  • You do 3 and your arms start shaking? Log 3.

  • You try 1 and it feels uncomfortable? Log 1.

  • You stand in front of the wall and just place your hands on it? Log that.



There is no shame in data.


If three wall push-ups is where your body says, “Okay, that’s enough,” then three is your starting point. That number is not embarrassing. It’s useful.


And if even one feels like too much? Getting up, walking to the wall, and standing there is still a beginning.


That matters.


We are not pushing through pain.

We are not performing for anyone.

We are collecting starting points.


So when Week Two comes, we know exactly where we began.





🍓 Food: Awareness, Not Restriction



This week, I will also be writing down everything I eat.


Not to judge it.

Not to restrict it.

Not to count calories.


Just to see it.


You can use:


  • A notes app

  • A journal

  • A piece of paper

  • The back of an envelope



No measuring.

No calorie tracking.

No food shaming.


We’re simply creating awareness.


Because you can’t adjust what you don’t understand.


And awareness without judgment is powerful.





⚖️ Weight & Measurements: Data, Not Drama



If you choose to weigh yourself or take measurements, this is not about good or bad numbers.


It’s about establishing a baseline.


This is the number we started at.

This is the waist measurement we started with.

This is how our clothes fit on Day One.


That’s it.


No spiraling.

No attaching emotion.

Just information.


Glow ups are built on honesty, not denial.





💗 Week One = Consistency Over Intensity



If you show up every day and:


  • Stretch gently

  • Do 3 wall push-ups

  • Walk for 2 minutes

  • Write down what you ate

  • Log your numbers honestly



That is success.


Consistency builds trust with your body.


And trust builds strength.





🌸 If You’re Starting From Zero



If you can’t do one wall push-up…

If your knees hurt.

If your back hurts.

If you’re winded walking across the room.


You are not behind.


You are exactly where you are.


And we are starting from there.


Standing up.

Facing the wall.

Putting your hands on it.


That is a start.


And I am so serious when I say that counts.





🌟 The Glow Up Vibery Way



We are not chasing fast results.


We are building foundations.


Week One is the week we gather our starting points so that in Week Two, we can build from something real.


No shame.

No embarrassment.

No comparison.


Just honesty.

Just consistency.

Just showing up.


March 2, we begin.


And we begin exactly as we are. 💕
